I am passionate about Hypnosis because of the outstanding benefits it gives for millions of people all around the world and the deep lasting results it can have on every area of our lives. Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation with focused concentration and a heightened state of suggestibility. It is similar to daydreaming or the in-between state just before we fall asleep each night. We reach a hypnotic state by combining a series of relaxation techniques and guided imagery. Our CONSCIOUS MIND is the 10% of our mind that is continually active and alert as we progress through our day-to-day activities. It is our ‘thinking’ mind, it must analyze, judge, critique, organize, compete, protect, defend, and position itself to accomplish the successful outcome of our mundane and practical affairs. This is a highly beneficial and desirable function as we navigate throughout our daily lives. Our UNCONSCIOUS/ SUBCONSCIOUS MIND is the 90% of our mind that records ALL of the events, and experiences of our past. Like entering data into a computer, it records every word that has been said to you and by you, all of your thoughts, everything you have seen, every emotion you have felt, and all of your experiences, ALL of it… It also contains our core BELIEFS and VALUES about our selves and others. It is infinite, INTUITIVE and highly CREATIVE. It receives new information continually, and therefore, is highly receptive to re-framing (reformulating, redeveloping to improve) and reprogramming old patterns and behaviors. In other words, it is the mind of TRANSFORMATION and BECOMING
